This product is designed to boost low input signal to a satellite receiver caused by; Long cable runs Poor quality cable Obstruction in the way of the satellite dish

It provides a very simple and cheap means of boosting satellite signal strength of when no other solution can be found

Very effective especially when problem is caused by long cable runs

Normally should be used only on very long cable runs etc..

Sometimes used to try and compensate for poor alignment or inappropriate location of a dish

This should be used as a last resort
